    Verifying Student Enrollment in Moodle

How to check if a student enrollment went through

Sometimes enrollments do not get processed through to Moodle correctly. This issue has especially been the case when a student is dropped and re-enrolled into a course. To check that the enrollment went through, please follow these steps.

Choose a method for checking the enrollment:

    1. To check a single course or see if the enrollment is active, follow the steps in Check the Course.
    2. To check multiple courses for a single user, follow the steps in Search the Student's Profile.
    3. To check the record that was created by CampusVue in Moodle, follow the steps in Conduit (IT).

    Check the Course

    Step 1

    Go to Find Courses.

    Step 2

Paste the Course code and hit Enter or click Go.

    Step 3

    Click the course link.

    Step 4

Click Admin > Course administration > Users > Enrolled users

    Step 5

Paste the student's ID, name, or email

    Step 6

    Press Enter to search

    Step 7

If the student is enrolled and not inactive, the Status will show Active.

    Search the Student's Profile

    Step 1

Go to the user list here.

    Step 2

Paste the student's ID number, email, or full name and press Enter.

    Step 3

Click the student from the search list.

    Step 4

Look for the Course Details column

    Step 5

If there are too many courses, click View more at the bottom of the list.

    Step 6

Use CTRL + F, or CMD + F to search the page.

Depending on your browser, the search may appear at the top-right or bottom-left corner.

    Step 7

    Paste the course code.

If the course code is found then the student is enrolled.

    Conduit

    Step 1

    Go to the Moodle Dashboard.

    Step 2

On the Conduit block, click Edit.

    Step 3

On the Conduit table, click Enrollments.

    Step 4

Enter the course ID (not course code) in the coursekey field

Enter the student ID in the userkey field

Note: you can fill in one or both. For example, if you want a list of all the student IDs in a course, you can use just the coursekey field.

    Step 5

    Step 6

Check the list against CampusVue records
