    Adding Page Content

    How to add content with a read more button. Great for reading materials, images, and other embedded content

    Page resources are an excellent way to add content to your course in a collapsable article. It is similar to a blog post in that it allows you to embed content such as images and videos. The following directions show you how to create a page resource and add content.

    Add a Page Resource

    Step 1

    Go to the week you want to add the Page Resouce to in the Table of Contents

    Step 2

    Click Create Learning Activity


    Step 3

    Click the Resources tab


    Step 4

    Click Page

    Setup the Page Resource

    Step 1

    Type in a name

    Step 2

    Type in a description

    Step 3

    Add the Page content

    Step 4

    To insert an image, click the image icon

    Click Find and Upload an image to add an image you have stored locally

    Paste the URL of an image in the Image URL field to use an image from an online image repository


    Click Insert

    Step 5

    Save


    Embed a YouTube Video

    1. Retrieve the embed code from YouTube

    Step 1

    Go to the YouTube video page (note: not all YouTube videos allow you to embed)

    Step 2

    Click Share

    Step 3

    Click Embed

    Step 4

     Click Copy 



    2. Embed a video code into your course

    Step 1

    Add a new Page resource or Edit an existing one

    Step 2

    In Page content (not in the Description), toggle the toolbar to display additional options

    Step 3

    Click the Edit HTML Source button 


    Step 4

    Right-click on the HTML Source Editor window and Paste the code


    Step 5

    Click the Edit HTML Button </>


    Step 6

    The video should preview in the HTML editor 


    Step 7

    Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save and return to course

    Step 9

    Open the Resource and make sure that the media plays correctly
