    Browser Time vs Blackboard Time

    In Blackboard, the time zone in the platform is automatically set based on data from the user's internet browser (Computer/Tablet/Cellphone time). In courses, due dates and calendar items are responsive to users' time zones and will depend on their actual location. 

    For example:

    • An instructor can set a due date of 12:00 AM Eastern time, and:

    • A student in the Pacific time zone will see a due date of 9:00 PM:
