Adding time extensions
Step 1
Click Admin > Course administration > Users > Groups
Step 2 (conditional)
If the group for the time extension does not exist, click Create group
Set the group name to the extension amount (e.g. 2x)
Click Save changes

Click on the group for the extension you want to add
Step 4
Click Add/remove users
Step 5
Select a student and click Add
Step 6
Go to the quiz by navigating back to the course page clicking on the quiz title
Step 7
Click Admin > Quiz administration > Group overrides
Step 8
If the override exists, you are done.
If the override does not exist, click Add group override
Click the Override group dropdown and change to your new group
Change the time limit by multiplying by the multiplier for the group (e.g. Group 2x = 2 x the time limit, 65 to 130)
Click Save
Adding date overrides
Step 1
Click on the Quiz
Step 2
Click Admin > Quiz administration > User overrides
Step 3
Click Add user override
Step 4
Search the student and click their name to add them to the selection
Step 5
Change the date
Step 6
Click Save
